SIMS is a management information system (MIS) from Capita, designed specifically for schools to tackle the issues that really matter to them. It helps raise pupil achievement by giving school leaders, teachers, pupils and parents the information needed to make the right decisions about pupils’ learning. It also helps tackle truancy or behaviour issues head on and cuts through your school’s paperwork.

The use of SIMS web parts within TALMOS Connect enables parents to have read only access to real time information on their own children and enables teachers to have read / write access to Assessment Manager in SIMS.

They have led the way on a number of successful advancements, being the first to incorporate biometric technology into their systems, developing hand held mobile solutions and, most recently, integrating library resource centre management with learning platforms and VLEs including TALMOS Connect.

They were early to recognise the importance of developing integration with learning platforms and, since doing so, have enjoyed a huge amount of success integrating and extending their web based library management system, Eclipse.net. This development has enabled them to expand their product portfolio whilst also driving competencies in new technologies including silverlight. Securus software monitors your ICT network for inappropriate language and alerts you if your pupils use:
